Hiking the Columbia River Gorge

Many people flock to the Columbia River Gorge to spend a day or two hiking through the forest, embracing the solitude of the wilderness and discovering just how beautiful the Gorge can be. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced hiker or looking for something a little more leisurely – the Gorge has it all. And, if you plan your route correctly, you’ll be able to stop at some waterfalls along the way!

Be sure to keep a watch for POSION OAK. To avoid skin contact, wear a long-sleeved shirt and long pants. Immediately wash skin several times with cold water and strong soap if you think you’ve come in contact with it. Be sure to wash clothing separately from other items.
